Aimee began her career at Fitness Forum in 1988 beginning her new position as Director in 2005. Aimee is AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) certified as an aerobic instructor with additional training in Mat Science level 1 and 2. She is YogaFit Certified, and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified. Aimee also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Indiana University, graduating in 1993. Her nursing career spans from Intensive Care nurse to Certified Lactation Counselor where she met educational needs through private consultation and classes at Hendricks Community Hospital.  Aimee is currently teaching BodyPump classes, Yoga, and Pilates, as well as scheduling and mentoring a staff of instructors for a variety of classes.

Vinyasa Yoga


Vinyasa means flow uniting Breath and Movement. The emphasis is using deep breathing to flow from one yoga pose into the next. Classic Vinyasa Yoga involves 15 different poses in each session. Wednesday evening classes will use all 15 points in every session -- and highlight one each week to allow students to explore each pose more deeply. Come and flow through these 15 poses and move toward a more balanced yoga routine.



Monday, April 2nd with classes at
8:30 AM, 4:15 PM, and 6:30 PM!

Want to get in shape fast? Join us for BODYPUMP™ a non-impact weights-based exercise class that works every major muscle group in the body using weights, a bar and step. It strengthens, conditions and tones muscles, producing amazing results fast.

 

The American Martial Arts Club

Martial Arts will instill confidence, self reliance, determination, awareness, physical prowess, stamina, quick thinking, and a good attitude. We are ranked in four different styles of Martial Arts, Tae Kwon Do, Shoto Kan, Kenpo Jitsu, and Kenpo Karate. We also introduce grappling, boxing, weapons, and Tai Chi. Adults and children are all a part of the class. This is a contact sport (like football).

Ongoing Enrollment. Classes are every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm-8:30pm. The first two classes are a free trial. For more information call 574-936-2333.
