We all have them. Some of them we remember, most we forget. What do they mean? What is their purpose? For four weeks Dave Hogsett, a retired United Methodist pastor living in Plymouth, will explore the world of dreams using as a framework the dreams and visions to be found in the Bible. Dreams were an important part of Joseph’s story in Genesis. The story of Jacob is framed by two dreams. The prophet Ezekiel’s visions and dreams looked forward to a new day. Those attending the class will discover how these stories might relate to their own faith journey. A part of one session will have a look at The Shack and what it says about dreams being an avenue by which God can speak to his people.
