Health and Wellness SUCCESS STORIES

The mission of Fitness Forum Sports & Wellness is to assist others in reaching their God-given potential, especially through physical fitness and health as it relates to and sets in balance with mental and spiritual fitness.

In June of 2010 I joined the Fitness Forum Sports & Wellness in search of a better way of life. Since joining I have lost a total of 85lbs, my cholesterol has decreased by 100 points, and I am now almost completely off of all of my medications. Now, I only have to take a ½ a pill a day for my thyroid, as well as ½ a pill a day for my blood pressure, rather than the 2 I was taking previously. In two months I am going in to have another blood test taken, at this point my doctor will start taking me completely off any unnecessary pills. In the beginning I could not even walk a block without having to stop to catch my breath; now I have no problem walking for miles at a time. I want to thank all the people at the Fitness Forum Sports & Wellness for encouraging me. I have made many friends here and enjoy it so much that we actually look forward to going to exercise. I just want to state that, when I began taking part in Mel Norton’s Cardio Hi Lo class three years ago, I set my fitness goal to get to the point that I would eventually be able do everything Mel could do.  Just when I think I have reached that goal, she always seems to create a new exercise that I find I need more to work on to catch up again.  I have subbed for her occasionally in emergency situations and have discovered just how much more I need to learn as well.  It is not my intention to out-do her, but to get into the best shape I can.  I just really enjoy the class and am still amazed at how well the class is constructed and how well she conducts it.  She makes it fun and effective and hope she always can teach the class. - BOB

The most rewarding aspect of Boot Camp is the knowledge and satisfaction that comes from realizing that this class can be completed to the finish, in spite of how tough it is.TAMMY
My workouts at Fitness Forum have helped me to go from having 20% body fat to being at 4% body fat in my latest bodybuilding competitions. ERIC

I have taken almost every group exercise class Fitness Forum has offered.  I have lost over 100 pounds by including exercise as part of my routine.  I have found new energy and feel ‘Positive” about all I do! CINDY
