Mewsette Cartwright is a mother of three beautiful children and married to Michael Cartwright. Mewsette has been dancing for over 20 years. She began as a Contemporary dancer in 1994 and later fell in love with Ballroom dancing in 2006. In 2010 Mewsette became a nationally certified (DVIDA) Dance Instructor. Mewsette has several certifications (NETA & YogaFit) as a group Yoga Instructor, yoga Trapeze Instructor (YogaBody) and certified with the NDCA. Mewsette completed her Module 1 level Acrobatic certification (AAC) in 2016. Mewsette is currently the LifePlex Dance Academy (LDA) Director, since 2006, in Plymouth, Indiana. She has an Associates degree in Business Administration from Ancilla College and is the Fitness Forum Sports & Wellness Group Exercise Director. In addition, her life purpose as a Professional Dance instructor/coach/choreographer is to provide the best service and quality training for her students. Her mission is to help dancers attain their personal goals and dreams of dance, one step at a time.​

Desiree Felke is married to Marc Felke and a proud mother of three children.  She has an Associate's Degree in Elementary Education from Ancilla College.  Desiree is an Acrobatic Coach with the LifePlex Dance Academy.  Desiree works at Plymouth High School as an aide.  Desiree enjoys playing softball on an adult league, managing her small farm, and gardening in her free time.

Holly Ripley is our Acrodance instructor here at LifePlex Dance Academy. She was a formerly certified gymnastics coach as well as a gymnast for 7 years and is new to the dance world. She is also one of our cheerleading and hip-hop dance coaches. Holly loves working with first time students as well as older ones and hopes to teach your kids in the near future! 

Marcia Heintzberger joined LDA in 2009, her background in dance began with her first teacher, Anna Marie Sagi, who studied under Walter Camryn and Bently Stone. Marcia has a professional relationship with Rosemary Doolas, Director of the Chicago Dance Medium and continues to be involved with this company. LEARN TO DANCE ONE STEP AT A TIME

Eleanor (Ellie) Longacre has been dancing since the age of 3. She grew up in South Bend, Indiana and attended Flint dance studio for 8 years. She trained in ballet under Marcia Heintzberger and did tap, and jazz. A few years later at Penn High School she studied modern and contemporary dance. She moved to Plymouth in 2004, and studied hip hop under Leeann Senter, and went on to compete in beauty pageants with dance as her talent. In 2006 she had a part time job working in a hip hop dance club for 2 years. She then took a few years off in 2008 to get married and raise 3 beautiful children. In 2015 she became a member of Newsong dance ministry under Angela Blancovargas. She currently has attended adult ballet, jazz, modern, and choreography classes under Marcia Heintzberger and attends ballroom lessons under Mewsette Cartwright. She is a member of a woman’s latin ballroom performance group called Las Chicas also under Mewsette Cartwright. She has taught a mommy and me tumbling class, and is co teaching mommy and me as well as hip hop. She is the current Zumba instructor at the fitness forum. Her goal is to thrive and share her passion and God given abilities for many years to come.

Destiny Cartwright is a teacher in training assistant who has been dancing since the age of 2 years old. She began dancing Ballet at Senter Stage dance studio in Plymouth, Indiana and continued her dream of dance at the LifePlex Dance Academy (LDA). Destiny continues her Ballet training under Marcia Heintzberger, and Tumbling with Acro/Tumble Coach Holly Ripley. Destiny is certified with Acrobatic Dance Arts (AAC I) and teaches pre-school AcroDance at the LDA. Destiny's second love is riding horses and competing for fun and pleasure, and her career goal is to continue to teach dance and work with horses. Destiny's also teaches Creative Rhythm class at LDA(Supervised by the Dance Director). Her class is intended for dancers to explore the creativity of  improv and movement. Dancers are encouraged to create, stretch their imagination, and bring a story line to life through dance. Destiny is excited to attain her bachelors degree in business at IUSB and move on to Meredith Manor in West Virginia Equine School to further her education.

Leanne Senter has been dancing since the age of three and with TAP as her favorite!  Just this summer she closed the doors of Senter Stage Dance Studio after 19 years of making some great friends and memories with many, young and young at heart,  from the Plymouth area.  Her children, Riley and Megan, are almost grown and her husband, Mark, you will recognize as the Mayor.  She looks forward to sharing TAP dancing with all of you!

Lexy Simms is the LDA Pre-School Creative Movement instructor.  She has been teaching dance since she was 16 years old and has taught at two different studios in the Michiana Area.  She has been director at her previous studio for two years.  She is currently in transfer to WGU College as a Junior, for a Bachelors in Elementary Education.  Her other hobbies include reading, listening to podcasts, archery, and watching movies.
