Pam Overmyer

Personal Trainer

Pam Overmyer is a certified personal trainer at Fitness Forum Sports & Wellness through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).  She teaches cardio, strength, and flexibility orientations, assisting our members in the complete workout experience. She was born and raised on a farm and values hard work! She also values family and has been married for 16 years and has 2 children.  Pam has participated in three strength competitions in her life. She has competed in a muscle mass competition in September of 2016, in which she took home 2nd place in her age division, a physique competition in June of 2017, in which she tool home 1st place in her age category, and most recently the 2017 NPC Natural Indiana Figure Competition, in which she took home 1st place in the novice category and 6th place in the figure category.

Pam believes age is just a number! She wants you to know that your goals can be obtainable with proper nutrition and exercise, and that she is willing to take you to the next level of fitness.

Personal Trainer

Vickie is an IFPA Certified Advanced Personal Trainer with 15 years experience.  Vickie's experience enables her to develop exercise programs for her busy clients that improve their overall appearance, increase their energy levels, maximize their results, and enhance their sense of well-being.

Christine Jack
Personal Trainer

Christine holds an Associates Degree in Exercise Science with an Emphasis in Personal Training through ISSA (International Sports Science Association).  Her degree includes certifications in Personal Training, Fitness Nutrition, Strength, and Conditioning for Youth Fitness, Senior Fitness, and Exercise Therapy.  She started her fitness journey here at Fitness Forum, and this was where she was inspired to work toward her degree.  Christine is dedicated to helping everyone "find their fit" and learn ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Katie Surma

Personal Trainer

Katie is a new personal trainer at Fitness Forum Sports & Wellness.  Her fitness journey started 10 years ago when she changed her lifestyle to eating a more balanced diet and exercising.  She has lost around 80 pounds and she isn't finished with her journey.  Now, she's using that knowledge and experience to help others reach their own specific goals, whether it's weight loss, gaining strength, or overall health.  Katie is a certified personal trainer through Fitour and holds additional certifications in CPR/AED, Group Exercise, Pound Fit, Pound Generation, and Yoga NETA.  Katie is energetic and motivated to help individuals reach their potential by changing their habits into a happy and healthy lifestyle, while reassuring you that you can achieve anything you put your mind to and enjoy the process at the same time.

Erin Ringer
Fitness Assistant & Personal Trainer

Erin is an IFPA Certified Personal Trainer and IFPA Certified Special Populations Trainer.  CPR/AED and First Aid Certified, SilverSneakers, Yoga - Stress Reduction, Functional Strength & Balance Solutions, Splash, and MSROM Certified.  She teaches the cardio, strength and flexibility orientation classes.  Her experience includes Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, and SilverSneakers Coordinator.  She also has the role of liaison to patients who have completed physical therapy or cardiac rehabilitation.  She will communicate with your therapist , or doctor, to ensure a safe transition and continuation of your therapy instructions.  Erin has been with Fitness Forum since 1995 and has held several positions throughout the facility over the years. 

Mel Norton
Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor

Mel holds AFAA certifications in personal training, group fitness, senior fitness, youth fitness and stress management.  Silver Sneaker MSROM and Cardio Circuit certifications are held as well.  Mel also teaches several group exercise classes and is a personal trainer.
